Deer Run Trail

Deer Run Trail runs between Lake Alice and Soda Pocket Campgrounds. Trailheads are located at the north end of the Lake Alice overflow area (across from the campground) and between sites 15 and 16 in Soda Pocket Campground. The trail winds through pine forest, meadows and crosses a canyon stream. Deer and tassel-eared squirrels are often spotted on the trail, but there are signs that wide varieties of wildlife use this area.
