Middle Creek Campground offers 22 campsites suitable for both tent and RV style camping.
The campground, adjacent to an OHV staging area and Middle Creek, is partially open with a field-like setting. The trees are walnut, gray pine, and oak. The campground is a mecca for OHV activities including about 60 miles of trails.
The campground has a dual personality in that during the week it should be comfortable for non-OHVrs, but on the weekend it takes on its OHV personality.
The parking aprons are paved and have an average length of 41 feet. Two pull-throughs are parallel parking to interior road.
Elevation: 1,500 feet

Facilities: Middle Creek Campground has a gravity water system and toilets available on the premises. Picnic tables, grills, and fire rings are located throughout the campground.

Best Time To Visit: Middle Creek Campground is open year-round.

Fees: Fees are charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days. Family pets must be kept on leashes at all times. Campfire restrictions may be put into affect depending on conditions. Please store food properly and do not feed wildlife.

Directions: To reach Middle Creek Campground from Lakeport, first go to Upper Lake. In Upper Lake, at intersection of State Rt. 20 and Main St., take Main St. north 0.2 miles to 2nd St. Turn right on 2nd St. and go 0.1 miles to first left (Middle Creek Rd.).

Turn left and go 0.4 miles to Elk Mountain Rd. Turn right (north) onto Elk Mountain Rd. and go 7.7 miles to campground on right.

Reservations: Middle Creek Campground does not accept reservations. Sites are available on a first come, first served basis.
