|Facilities: Jones Fork Campground has no piped drinking water available. Lake water is available close by, but must be boiled before use. Wheelchair accessible vault toilets are provided on the premises. Picnic tables and fire rings are located throughout the campground.Food lockers (bear boxes) are provided for the safety of the campers.The nearest showers are located at Fashoda Campground and the nearest dump station is at Sunset Campground, both less than 1 mile to the north.|
Best Time To Visit: Jones Fork Campground is open from Memorial Day weekend to mid-October. These dates may be affected by snowfall.
Fees: Camping fees are charged.
Accessibility: The vault toilets in the campground are wheelchair accessible.
Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days out of every 30 days. Family pets must be kept on leashes at all times. Campfire restrictions may be put into affect depending on conditions. Maximum vehicle length is 50 feet.
Directions: To reach Jones Fork Campground from Sacramento, travel east on Interstate 50 for about 60 miles to Ice House Road (21 miles east of Placerville).Turn left onto Ice House Road and travel north for approximately 13.5 miles. The turn-off for Jones Fork Campground is on the left-hand side of the road. The campground itself is about 0.5 miles down the turn-off.
