| Facilities: The El Prado Group Campground is equipped with both vault and flush toilets depending on the campsite and drinking water is available at every campground. Tables and grills are provided on the premises. Best Time To Visit: The El Prado Group Campground is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. Fees: Camping fees are charged. Accessibility: One campsite (Yerba Santa) is wheelchair accessible. Rules: Campers must comply with the maximum occupancy limit. Maximum length of stay is 14 days out of every 30 days. All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length or under physically restrictive control at all times. Campfire permits may be required. Directions: To reach the El Prado Group Campground from San Diego, go east along the Interstate 8 for about 45 miles to the Sunrise Highway (S1) exit. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp and proceed north on Sunrise Highway for 13 miles to the small town of Mt. Laguna. 3 to 3.5 miles past Mt. Laguna on Sunrise Highway there will be a wooden sign on the left-hand side reading "Laguna / El Prado Campgrounds." Turn left at this sign and the road will fork.
