Apache Junction, resting at the foot of Arizona's Superstition Mountains, offers many attractions to captivate visitors and keep them coming back for more. Apache Junction offers an easy jumping off point for even more to see and do around central Arizona. For instance, the nearby town of Florence hosts the annual Country Thunder music festival in mid-April.

Dog racing fans will enjoy Apache Greyhound Park. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike or ride horses along the Apache Trail, Highway 88, through the Sonoran Desert, past Canyon Lake downstream from the Roosevelt Dam, and on past Tortilla Flat, an old stage stop. Ancient Native American cliff dwellings await visitors at the top of Tonto National Monument. Somewhere along the way, visitors may even stumble across the Lost Dutchman mine.
Apach Junction is home to the annual Arizona Renaissance Festival, held each year in February and March. The festival draws crowds from across Arizona.
Apache Junction visitors can stay in comfort at RV camps, dude ranches, motels, or resorts. Day spas and health clubs provide a refreshing change of pace, and the golf courses are without par.
