Boulder Recreation Site - Fishing In National Recreation Areas
This site is located 15 miles northeast of Apache Junction. Recreation includes camping, picnicking, water-play, and fishing.

Canyon Lake - Lakes & Reservoirs
This lake is a popular area for fishing. Present fish species include walleye, largemouth bass, channel catfish, carp, yellow bass, bluegill, green sunfish, and rainbow trout.

Workman Creek - Rivers & Streams
This creek is ten miles long and flows from the Sierra Ancha Wilderness Area to Salome Creek in the Salome Wilderness Area. Rainbow trout and Brown Trout can be found in this creek. The AZ Game and Fish Department stocks the creek just below the waterfall twice a year in early summer.
