Granite Basin Lake
This lake is not stocked with fish. Although fishing is usually rated as only fair to poor, the patient angler can often catch bluegill, largemouth bass, or catfish.

Lynx Lake Recreation Area
This recreation area is one of the most popular recreation areas in central Arizona. The area is common for trout fishing, boating, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, archaeological sites, and bird watching. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout. Rental boats, picnic tables, toilets, and drinking water are available.

Verde River
This river is one of Arizona's major perennial rivers and a treasured resource in the central part of the state. Free flowing for most of its length, it provides lush riparian habitat, abundant wildlife, diverse recreational opportunities, and spectacular scenery. The majority of the upper and lower Verde River passes through National Forestlands that is open to public recreation of all kinds. Fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, camping, bird watching, and sightseeing are all popular activities. The lower river is designated a Wild and Scenic River and offers the opportunity to fish by boat from Beasley Flats to Childs.

Watson Lake
This lake, known as a "Mini Lake Powell," is a great spot for kayaking, sailing, fishing and daydreaming. Watson Lake offers fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, sunfish, and channel catfish as well as a boat ramp, floating dock and seasonal boat rentals.

Willow Lake
Owned by the City of Prescott, this lake is an ideal place to go bird-watching, paddle a canoe or kayak, or just sit in the rocks of the Granite Dells and enjoy the sun and water. AZ Game & Fish does not stock the lake.
