Coronado National Forest
The Coronado National Forest covers 1,780,000 acres of southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico. Elevations range from 3000 feet to 10,720 feet in twelve widely scattered mountain ranges. The Forest offers an unusual variety of vegetation types and climates as well as diverse recreational opportunities.

The campground is a high mountain campground located on a site that was once occupied by the old Reef townsite. There are 14 single-unit sites with tables and fire rings.

Stewart Campground
This campground is the only one of the three lower Cave Creek Campgrounds that you don't have to ford the creek to access. There are six individual campsites with pull-ins. Trailers up to 16 feet are permitted.

There is one campsite, and near the Peña Blanca Lake. This is a popular area for fishing, boating, and bird watching and is just a short drive on paved roads from the campground.

Herb Martyr Campground
This small streamside campground has dispersed campsites and is located on the banks of Cave Creek at the end of the road that leads into Cave Creek Canyon. The drive to Herb Martyr Campground is worthwhile for the view of the 365 foot Winn Falls which tumbles off the shoulder of Sanders Peak.

Pinery Canyon Campground
There are four campsites available at the Pinery Canyon Campground. This small, rustic campground is located along Forest Road #42, which bisects the Chiricahua Range.

Ramsey Vista Campground
The Ramsey Vista Campground is situated in a stand of ponderosa pine. There are views of Ramsey Peak, which is famous for its wedding cake stack of sheer white cliffs.
