| Facilities: Yavapai Family Campground does not have any RV hookups, dump stations, or shower facilities. There are composting toilets, fire rings, drinking water, and picnic tables available. Best Time To Visit: Yavapai Family Campground is open year-round. Fees: A nightly camping fee is charged. Accessibility: There are two sites at Yavapai Family Campground that are handicap accessible, as well as the toilets. Rules: There is a 14 day stay limit. This campground is located within the Prescott National Forest; forest regulations apply. Pets must be on-leash at all times. Directions: To reach Yavapai Family Campground from Prescott it is 8.4 miles to the campground. Take Gurley Street west to Grove Avenue. Turn north on Grove Avenue and proceed to the 4th traffic light. Stay in the left lane through this intersection and take Iron Springs Road. Follow Iron Springs Road for 3.2 miles to the turnoff to Granite Basin Lake (Forest Road 374). Turn north on Forest Road 374 and follow for about 4 miles to the campground and picnic area entrance.
