Windy Hill Campground is in an open area on the peninsula of Roosevelt Lake and has 347 single sites. This campground is for those who enjoy camping in a semi-developed area.

Facilities: Restrooms and drinking water are provided at Windy Hill Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Windy Hill Campground is open year round.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: This campground is located within the Tonto National Forest; forest regulations apply. Maximum length of stay is 14 days. Pets must be on-leash at all times.

Directions: To get to Windy Hill Campground from:

Apache Junction go Southeast on US Highway 60 for 40 miles to Globe. Go North on State Highway 88 for 24 miles to Forest Route 82. Travel East on 82 approximately two miles to the campground.
Payson go south on AZ-87, turn left on AZ-188. Turn right on AZ-88, to Forest Route 82. Travel East on 82 approximately two miles to the campground.
