Best Time To Visit: Willow Springs Trail's best times are fall, spring and winter. Fees: No fees are charged. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: This trail lies within the Pine Mountain Wilderness and the use of any motorized or mechanized equipment, including bicycles, is prohibited. Directions: To reach Willow Springs Trail from Cottonwood, exit the I-17 Freeway at the Dugas Interchange. From there take Forest Road 68 southeast for 18 miles to the trailhead for the Nelson Trail #159 at the boundary of the Pine Mountain Wilderness. The boundary is approximately 1.25 miles east of the Double-T Ranch on Sycamore Creek. Visitors will have to travel east of Trail #159 for about 2.75 miles to where it connects with Trail #12. |
