Reservations: Reservations for the use of sites are not required at Wild Cow Springs. All sites are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Best Time To Visit: During the summer months, the temperatures at Wild Cow Springs average 20 degrees cooler than the nearby desert valleys located over 3,000 feet below. Fees: A camping fee is charged. Accessibility: Handicap access is available. Rules: High clearance vehicles are highly recommended. Travel trailers longer than 20 feet are not recommended beyond the firehouse turnoff. Pets must be on-leash at all times. Directions: To reach Wild Cow Springs from Kingman, travel 14 miles on the paved Hualapai Mountain Road, through Hualapai Mountain County Park into the small community of Pine Lake. Turn right at the Pine Like firehouse, onto an unpaved one-lane road. From there, go approximately five miles to the recreation site. High clearance vehicles are highly recommended beyond this point.
