| Facilities: Restrooms, trash bins, drinking water, and campsites are provided at White Horse Lake. Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to visit White Horse Lake. Best Time To Visit: The facilities at White Horse Lake are open May - October, or as weather permits. During the off-season it is possible to walk into the lake, however there is no camping permitted or facilities available. The roads are paved and gravelled but may be closed during the winter.Fees: There is a fee for camping overnight and picnicking if using designated campsites. Accessibility: The restrooms are accessible. Some areas of the lake may be accessible in years of high-water levels. Rules: A fishing license is required for those over the age of 14. There is no swimming in the lake. Pets must be leashed at all times. Boats must have single electric motors, 1 horsepower or less. Directions: To reach White Horse Lake from Williams turn south on 4th St. (Forest Road 173, Perkinsville Road) and go 9 miles to Forest Road 110. Turn left onto Forest Road 110 and travel about 7 miles (this portion is unpaved, but suitable for all types of vehicles) Turn left onto Forest Road 109; follow to campground entrance (about 3 miles.) The roads are paved and gravelled but may be closed during the winter. |
