The Stockton Pass Campground is situated in a primarily oak and juniper grassland. Visitors may gather firewood locally or bring your own. Deer, bears, skunks, squirrels, and chipmunks are common to this area. Numerous trails can be found in the area.

Directions: To get to Stockton Pass Campground from Tucson, start out going northwest on I-10, take US-191 exit toward Safford. From Safford, travel south on U.S. Highway 191 to the town of Swift. Turn off onto State Route 266 and continue to the campground at Stockton Pass.
