| Facilities: Drinking water is provided at Spencer Canyon Campground. Supplies are available at Tucson. Best Time To Visit: Spencer Canyon Campground is normally open early May through Mid-October. Fees: There is a camping fee charged. Accessibility: There are two barrier-free campsites. Rules: No pack and saddle are stock permitted in the campground. Pets must be leashed at all times. Directions: To reach Spencer Canyon Campground from Tucson, take Tanque Verde Road east to the Catalina Highway. Turn left (north) onto the Catalina Highway, and drive 4.2 miles to the forest boundary. Continue up the scenic Catalina Highway 21.5 miles to Spencer Canyon Campground.
