The Black Jack Campground is located in a park-like setting among ponderosa pine and oak trees. There are beautiful views of the rocky bluffs above Blackjack Cave. Wildlife in the area includes raptors, deer, wild turkeys, and javelinas. There are 10 camping sites available.


Facilities: There are no facilities at Black Jack Campground. Supplies and groceries are available in Clifton.

Best Time To Visit: Black Jack Campground is open year-round.

Fees: No fees are charged to use this campground.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days. This campground is located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To reach Blackjack Campground from Springerville, take federal Hwy 191 to Clifton. From Clifton go south on 191 to state Hwy 781. Go north on 781 for 11 miles to the campground.
