| Facilities: Cinch Hook gravel pit, located on State Highway 87 and Highway 260 junction, is closed to entry for all visitors, including snowplay, for the entire winter season of 2011-2012. There is a temporary outhouse on the premises. No trash service is provided, please pack it in/pack it out. The parking area is plowed and there is sufficient staff. Best Time To Visit: Cinch Hook is open for weekend use from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm when snow conditions are met. There must be at least 10 inches of snow for the area to be opened. Fees: No fees are charged. Accessibility: This area is not accessible. Rules: No snowboards, skis, wood or metal sledding devices are allowed. Jump, ramp, or berm building is forbidden. Directions: To reach Cinch Hook from Payson, take Highway 87 about 17 miles north to Strawberry. Cinch Hook is located just 7.3 miles north of Strawberry.
