Second Water Trail is heavily used and located in the Superstition Wilderness Area. This trail passes through Garden Valley.
It is 3.3 miles long and has an easy rating. Hiking and horseback riding are permitted on this trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Second Water Trail. Gas, food, ad lodging can be found in Apache Junction.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Second Water Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Second Water Trail is open year round.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Neither motorized or mechanized transport are permitted on this trail. The maximum group size is 15; the maximum amount of saddle or pack animals of any kind is 15 per group.

Directions: To reach Second Water Trail from Apache Junction, travel 3.5 miles north on State Highway 88 to Forest Road 78 (near Mile Marker 200). Turn right and follow this road 3 miles. Horse-trailers parking are on the left 0.5 miles before reaching the main trailhead.
