Icehouse CCC Loop has scenery that consists of chaparral vegetation and a riparian habitat the length of Pinal Creek. Several campgrounds are located nearby in the Pinal Mountain Recreation Area.

The route starts in the Icehouse CCC, heading west on Six Shooter Canyon Trail to Forest Road 112. Take a left on Forest Road 112 and ride it uphill to the junction with Una Del Oso Trail. Take a left on Una Del Oso Trail and take it southeast to Toll Road Trail. Turn left and go north on that trail to the junction with Check Dam Trail. Turn left on Check Dam Trail and go west to Pinal Creek. Go through two gates, and travel southwest to the intersection with Six Shooter Canyon Trail. Continue south on Six Shooter Canyon Trail to the route head.

The bulk of this route is situated on steep, single track trails, and is not recommended for beginning cyclists. This route is 5.5 miles long and has a more difficult rating. Mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding are permitted on this route.

Facilities: Icehouse CCC Loop is located near several campgrounds and the Icehouse CCC which have restrooms. Gas, food, and lodging can be found in Globe.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Icehouse CCC Loop.

Best Time To Visit: Icehouse CCC Loop is recommended for use in fall, winter, and spring.

Fees: No fee is charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Bicycles yield to all other non-motorized traffic, hikers yield to horseback riders and other saddle and pack animals.

Directions: To reach Icehouse CCC Loop from Apache Junction, travel east on U.S. Highway 60 to Globe. Take Jess Hayes Rd. southeast from Globe to the junction of Forest Road 112 and Forest Road 222. Turn right and follow Forest Road 112 5.2 miles to the Icehouse CCC.
