Cuff Button Trail is located in the Superstition Wilderness Area and is easy to follow. The southern section is steep and may be overgrown.
This trail is 6 miles long, receives little use, and has a moderate rating. Hiking and horseback riding are permitted on this trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Cuff Button Trail. Gas, food, and lodging can be found in Apache Junction.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Cuff Button Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Cuff Button Trail is open spring through fall, depending on the weather.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Neither motorized or mechanized transport are permitted on this trail. The maximum group size is 15; the maximum amount of saddle or pack animals of any kind is 15 per group.

Directions: To reach Cuff Button Trail from Apache Junction, travel east on U.S. Highway 60 to Superior. Go east from Superior on U.S. Highways 60 4 miles past "Top-of-the-World." Turn left on the paved Pinto Valley Mine Road 287 (east of the Pinto Creek Bridge). This road is through a mining area and is often confusing. Follow this road 6.5 miles to the Miles Ranch Road 287A turn-off. Continue north on the Pinto Valley Mine Road 287 to its intersection with Forest Road 305. Take Forest Road 305 west to the trailhead.
