Cottonwood Cove Picnic Site is positioned on the scenic south shore of Roosevelt Lake. There are trails that lead to the lake for fishing.
There are 20 picnic units with tables and pedestal grills. All picnic units have ramadas for shade. There is no drinking water available.

Facilities: Cottonwood Cove Picnic Site provides toilets, picnic tables, and grills. There is no drinking water available at the site. Gas, food, and lodging can be found in the Roosevelt Marina or Apache Junction.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Cottonwood Cove Picnic Site.

Best Time To Visit: Cottonwood Cove Picnic Site is open year round.

Fees: No fee is charged.

Accessibility: This picnic site has wheelchair accessible toilets and tables. The trails to the lake have compacted gravel surfaces.

Rules: Rules and regulations are posted on bulletin boards at the site. Use trash receptacles when available, if not then bring out what is brought in. This area is for day use only, no camping, but parking for night fishing is permitted.

Directions: To reach Cottonwood Cove Picnic Site from Apache Junction, travel northeast on State Highway 88 to State Highway 188. Take State Highway 188 southeast to the picnic site.
