Directions: To get to Skunk Tank Trail from Phoenix: start out going north on I-17 toward Flagstaff, turn on east AZ-101-Loop. Take the Cave Creek exit number 28. Stay straight to get on Beardsley, turn left on Cave Creek Road. From Cave Creek: Travel north on Forest Road 48 to Forest Road 247 the trail starts at the junction of 247 and 24B.
