Oak Trail is a part of the Arizona Trail, located on the near the Mogollon Rim. It travels into Oak Spring which is a lovely forested locale. It also trail also goes into Oak Springs Canyon.
This trail only receives moderate use, is 3.2 miles long, and has a more difficult rating. Mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking are acceptable means by which to negotiate this trail.


Facilities: Oak Trail has toilets and horse corrals at its trailhead. Food, gas, and lodging can be found in Payson.

Best Time To Visit: Oak Trail is open spring through fall. Be careful when the trail is mud.

Fees: No fee is charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: No motorized vehicles.

Directions: To reach Oak Trail from Payson, travel north on State Highway 87 to State Highway 260. Continue northwest on State Highway 87 to the trailhead, which is located a few miles northwest of the junction with State highway 260.
