Black Canyon Rim Campground is set among ponderosa pine. Fishing and boating opportunities are popular at Black Canyon Lake. There are 21 camping sites available. A historical gravesite is located within walking distance of the campground.

Facilities: Vault toilets and drinking water are provided at Black Canyon Rim Campground. Supplies are available 8 miles west at Forest Lakes.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted to camp at Black Canyon Rim Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Black Canyon Rim Campground is open year-round as access permits. The best camping season is from May to November.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days. This campground is located within Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To reach Black Canyon Rim Campground from Show Low, take state Hwy 260 to Heber. From Heber go west on state Hwy 260 for 11 miles to forest route 300. Go south on 300 for 2 miles to the campground.
