P.V. Vista Loop Trail follows a ridge overlooking Pleasant Valley and the Mogollon Rim. The plant life around the trail includes juniper, pinion pine, manzanita, Gambel Oak, and ponderosa pine.
This trail is 7 miles long, receives light use, and has an easy rating. Hiking is the permitted form of travel on the trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at P.V. Vista Loop Trail. Gas, food, and lodging can be found in Young.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at P.V. Vista Loop Trail.

Best Time To Visit: P.V. Vista Loop Trail is open spring through fall, depending on weather.

Fees: No fee is charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: If it is brought in, then it must be brought out.

Directions: To reach P.V. Vista Loop Trail from Payson, travel northeast on State Highway 260 to State Highway 288. Take State Highway 288 south to Young. Continue on State Highway 288 for 13 miles, the trailhead is right off of the highway.
