Chillicut Trail is in the Four Peaks Wilderness Area and for 2 miles it travels an old jeep road. The had been heavily damaged by the Lone Fire.
It is 3 miles long, receives very light use, and has a more difficult rating. Hiking and horseback riding are acceptable means by which to traverse this trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Chillicut Trail. Gas, food, and lodging are available in Apache Junction.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Chillicut Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Chillicut Trail is open spring through fall, depending on the weather.

Fees: No fee is charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Neither motorized or mechanized transport are permitted on this trail. The maximum group size is 15; the maximum amount of saddle or pack animals of any kind is 15 per group.

Directions: To reach Chillicut Trail from Apache Junction, travel east on State Highway 88 to State Highway 188. Take State Highway 188 northwest to Forest Road 445. Take Forest Road 445 to the trailhead.
