Directions: To reach Barnhardt Trail from Mesa, travel north on State Highway 87 (the Beeline Highway) to the junction with State Highway 188. 4 miles beyond this junction turn left on Forest Road 419 (this turn-off is just before crossing the Rye Creek Bridge, about 1 mile south of the Rye Creek Store).
