| Facilities: Facilities are limited to parking, and an outhouse with trash receptacles, and Arizona Game and Fish bulletin board. There is camping at nearby Whitehorse Lake Campground. Best Time To Visit: JD Dam is open late spring through late fall or as weather permits. Fees: There are no fees to use JD Dam. Accessibility: This area is not accessible. Rules: There is a strict catch and release policy for JD Dam. All anglers 14 year and older must have a valid Arizona fishing license. All camping must be done outside a 1/4 mile radius of JD Dam. Directions: To reach JD Dam from Williams, turn south on Fourth Street (County Road 73) about 9 miles to Forest Road 110. Turn left on Forest Road110 and continue 7.5 miles to Forest Road109. Turn right onto Forest Road109 and go 2.5 miles to Forest Road12. Take Forest Road12 south (right) 4 miles to Forest Road110. Turn right and proceed approximately 0.1 mile to Forest Road105 and go .5 mile to the lake. Roads are paved and graveled, but the last few miles may not be suitable for passenger vehicles during periods of rain or snow.
