Winn Campground is located in mixed conifer and aspen near Mt. Baldy and both the East and West Forks of the Little Colorado River. With its location, this campground is a superb place for anglers and hikers. Some sites are located on the edge of a big meadow, where, during twilight, elk can often be seen.

Be ready for rain, usually heavy, in July and August. The nights are cool to cold.

There are 63 single sites and 2 group sites at the campground. The group sites can hold up to 50 people each, making them excellent for large gatherings. RVs and trailers up to 45 feet in length can stay here.

Facilities: Winn Campground provides toilets, drinking water, fire pits, grills, and picnic tables. There is no trash service or RV dump station. Food and gas can be found in Greer and Springerville.

Best Time To Visit: Winn Campground is open year-round, as the weather permits. Camping is free from mid-October to May.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not accessible.

Rules: Pets must remain leashed at all times.

Directions: To reach Winn Campground from Springerville, travel east on State Highway 260 to State Highway 273. Take State Highway 273 south to Forest Road 554. The campground is located on Forest Road 554 between Sheeps Crossing and Phelps Trailhead.
