Directions: To reach the Williams Valley Summer Trail System from Springerville, travel south on U.S. Highway 191 to Forest Road 249. Then turn west (right) onto Forest Road 249 about 4 miles to Williams Valley. There are 2 parking lots here, one at the crest of the hill that marks the divide between the San Francisco and the Black River drainages, the other at the west end of the valley. Both parking areas are signed. |
