West Fork Trail meanders through a patchwork of forest and meadows. Deer can often be seen browsing at the forests edge.
Along the trail is Trail Springs Tank, where wild roses and raspberries grow around offering a delight to ones eyes and appetite in mid to late summer. This trail does not truly end at the Sheeps Crossing Trailhead but changes into the West Baldy Trail as it enters the Mt. Baldy Wilderness Area.
This trail is 4 miles long and has been given a moderate rating for all forms of travel. Horses, hiker, and mountain bikers may use this trail.

Facilities: No facilities are provided at West Fork Trail. Food, lodging, and gas can be found in Springerville.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at West Fork Trail.

Best Time To Visit: West Fork Trail is open May through October, depending on weather conditions.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Remember to practice trail etiquette.

Directions: To reach West Fork Trail trailhead in Greer from Springerville, travel west on State Highway 260 to State Highway 373. Go south on State Highway 373 and turn right Osborne Road. Take Osborne Road to the trailhead, which is located on the left.

To reach West Fork Trail Sheeps Crossing Trailhead from Springerville, travel west on State Highway 260 to State Highway 273. The trailhead is located 10.9 miles south on State Highway 273 on the right.
