Terry Flat Loop roams around the forest encrusted meadows near Escudilla Mountain Wilderness Area. The route actually follows a little used somewhat rough forest road that also receives some motorized traffic. Wildlife abounds in the area and so do chances of spotting the previously mentioned wildlife. This ride is a good ride for beginning Mountain Bikers or a good warm up for experienced cyclists.
This route generally receives very light traffic except when the aspens turn gold. This trail is 6 miles long and has an easy difficulty. Both hiking and mountain biking are permitted on this trail.
