Lookout Connector Trail

Lookout Connector Trail is named for the Juniper Ridge Fire Lookout Tower. The tower is actually the highest position on the trail at 6998 feet above sea level. The tower is open to the public June and July.
This trail connects the Juniper Ridge Trail and the Los Caballos Trail. It is 3.5 miles long and has been given a difficult rating. Horses, hikers, and mountain bikers are permitted on this trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Lookout Connector Trail. Food, gas, and lodging can be found in Show Low.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Lookout Connector Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Lookout Connector Trail is open from early spring to early winter.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Remember to follow all trail etiquette.

Directions: To reach Lookout Connector Trail Los Caballos Trailhead from Show Low, travel west on U.S. Highway 60 to State Highway 260. Take State Highway 260 west, the trailhead head is on the left.

To reach Lookout Connector Trail Juniper Ridge Trailhead from Show Low, travel west on U.S. Highway 60 to State Highway 260. Take State Highway 260 west to Farnsworth Ranch Road. Take Farnsworth Ranch Road to the trailhead.
