| Facilities: No facilities are available at Shiver's Trap Trail. Best Time To Visit: Shiver's Trap Trail is open year round, but please do not bring horses if the soil is wet. Recommended season of use: Spring, summer, fall.Fees: A parking fee may be charged. Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible. Rules: Restricted to motorized vehicles less than 40" wide. Directions: The north trailhead for Shiver's Trap Trail is about 2.8 miles west of the Camp Wood Administrative Site on Forest Road 21. If guests pass the Paddock Ranch on the left of the road, they have gone about 0.3 miles too far.
