Hannagan Meadow Loop

Hannagan Meadow Loop is situated in a mixed conifer and aspen forest, starting in Hannagan Meadow Campground. Many meadows can be seen along the trail which, during the right season, are painted with wildflowers. Many different species of wildlife can be seen along the route including elk, deer, bear, and squirrels.
This trail is 5.3 miles long, has an easy to moderate difficulty, and both starts stops near the Hannagan Meadow Lodge. Mountain bikers and hikers can use this trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Hannagan Meadow Loop. Water and restrooms can be found in the nearby Hannagan Meadow Campground. Food, lodging, and gas can be found in Alpine.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Hannagan Meadow Loop.

Best Time To Visit: Hannagan Meadow Loop is open May through October.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Follow all general bicycling guidelines; such as wear a helmet and yield to pedestrians and equestrian users.

Directions: To reach Hannagan Meadow Loop From Springerville, travel south on U.S. Highway 191 to Forest Road 576 (a quarter of a mile north of Hannagan Meadow). The ride begins here and in a short distance turns right along a power line.
