Flume Trail is one of two trails that connect Panorama Trail and Timber Mesa Trail, it being the southern one. It connects with Panorama trail on the south side of Porter Mountain, and connects with Timber Mesa Trail south of Frost Canyon.
This trail gained its name from the flume, an irrigation pipe, which runs along it for a ways. This trail is 2.5 miles long and has received a moderate difficulty. Hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders are welcome on this trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Flume Trail. Food, lodging, and gas can be found in Pinetop-Lakeside or Show Low

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Flume Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Flume Trail is open from spring to early winter.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Directions: To reach Flume Trail from Show Low, travel south on State Highway 77 to Forest Road 45(Porter Mountain Road). Take a left on Forest Road 45 the trailhead for Timber Mesa Trail will come up first on the left and after that the Panorama Trail trailhead will be on the left.
