Country Club-Los Burros Connector Trail

Country Club-Los Burros Connector Trail connects the Country Club and Los Burros Trails. It roves in and out of pine forests as it follows old logging roads. This trail goes by Brushy Mountain and traverses through several drainages.
This trail is 6.5 miles long and has been given moderate rating. Hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers may use this trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities available at Country Club-Los Burros Connector Trail. Food, gas, and lodging can be found in Pinetop-Lakeside.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Country Club-Los Burros Connector Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Country Club-Los Burros Connector Trail is open from spring to early winter.

Directions: To reach Country Club-Los Burros Connector Trail Country Club Trailhead from Show Low, travel south on State Highway 260 towards McNary. Turn left on Bucksprings Road. Drive 0.6 miles. Turn left on Forest Road 182 (to Sky High Retreat). Drive 2 miles. Pass Springs Trailhead on left. Where Forest Road 182 veers to left, proceed straight on Forest Road 185 past Sierra Springs Ranch entrance. Trailhead is on right. Follow trail to east. Connector trail starts northwest of Chipmunk Springs.

To reach Country Club-Los Burros Connector Trail Los Burros Trailhead from Show Low, travel south on State Highway 260 to McNary. In McNary turn left on Forest Road 224, following signs to Vernon. Drive 8 miles to Los Burros Campground. Trailhead is at far end of campground. Follow trail west to Reservation Flats, connector trail starts at southwest corner of Reservation Flats.
