Sheridan Mountain Trail is primarily used on horseback. It stays mostly within pinyon-juniper and chaparral vegetation types. This area although not classified as such, has a real wilderness character and passes through one of the most rugged and remote pieces of country in northwestern Arizona.

Facilities: No facilities are available for Sheridan Mountain Trail.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed at Sheridan Mountain Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Sheridan Mountain Trail is open year round, but please do not bring horses if the soil is wet.

Fees: A parking fee may be charged.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Unknown

Directions: Access to Sheridan Mountain Trail is via Forest Road 705 which turns to the south from Forest Road 21 (Camp Wood Road) about 1 mile east of the Camp Wood Administrative Site. Take Forest Road 705 for approximately 6.4 miles to the junction of Forest Road 705, Forest Road 665, and TR #11.
