Yavapai Ridge Trail mileage includes the spur from Kisva Trail to the Yavapai Ridge loop. This trail overlooks Oak Creek and offers outstanding panoramic views of Red Rock State Park. Yavapai Ridge Trail passes close by the park's east entrance, where trail users can gain access to Turkey Creek Trail and Coconino National Forest via Forest Road 216A.
A total elevation change of just 40 feet and short distance make this 1.5-mile loop trail an easy hike.

Facilities: Yavapai Ridge Trail has restrooms and a picnic area. There is also a visitor center. There are no trash cans. This trail has a parking area and trailhead water.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Yavapai Ridge Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Yavapai Ridge Trail is open year round.

Fees: There is a fee to use this trail.

Accessibility: This trail has no handicap access.

Rules: Daytime use only. Permits required. No pets. No swimming.

Directions: To reach Yavapai Ridge Trail from Sedona, take Hwy. 89A five miles southwest to Lower Red Rock Loop Rd. Take Lower Red Rock Loop Rd. to Red Rock State Park Visitor Center. From visitor center, take Bunkhouse Trail east to Kingfisher Crossing. Take Kisva Trail north a short distance to Yavapai Ridge Trail.
