The Sharlot Hall Museum is the largest museum in the central territory of Arizona. Exhibits include human and natural history spanning the years from before the founding of Prescott in 1864 to the present. The museum site includes nine buildings and four special gardens that include the Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden.
A visit to the museum is highlighted by a tour of the Governor's Mansion. Founded in 1928 by historian and poet Sharlot M. Hall, the museum explores the rich diversity of regional heritage through festivals, living history events, outdoor theater performances, changing exhibits, and publications and research services. The museum is also home to an on-site museum store, archives, and a library.

Reservations: Reservations are not required to visit Sharlot Hall Museum.

Best Time To Visit: Sharlot Hall Museum is open Monday through Saturday 10am - 4pm; Sunday noon-4pm.

Fees: An entrance fee is charged.

Accessibility: This museum is handicap accessible.

Rules: No pets permitted. No food, drink, or photography permitted inside museum buildings.

Directions: To get to Sharlot Hall Museum from the courthouse plaza in downtown Prescott, take Gurley Street west. The museum will be on the left side of the road.
