The Rattlesnake Ridge Loop Trail offers both recreational and interpretive opportunities along its 1.3 mile loop. Upper Sonoran vegetation communities are represented along this trail, and wildlife such as mule deer, quail, rabbit, and javelina inhabit the area. Hikers will enjoy outstanding panoramic views from the trail's upper sections. A total elevation change of only 70 feet makes this an easy hike.

Facilities: Rattlesnake Ridge Loop Trail has restrooms and a picnic area.

Reservations: No reservations are needed or accepted for Rattlesnake Ridge Loop Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Rattlesnake Ridge Loop Trail is open year-round.

Accessibility: This trail has no handicap access.

Rules: This trail is daytime use only. Permits are required. No pets, or swimming are allowed.

Directions: To reach Rattlesnake Ridge Loop Trail from Sedona, take Hwy. 89A five miles southwest to Lower Red Rock Loop Rd. Turn left (south) and take Lower Red Rock Loop Rd. past Red Rock State Park entrance station to Twin Cypress Picnic Area. Trailhead is at picnic area.
