Boat ramp available nearby; small watercraft can be launched from shore. Best Time To Visit: Senator Wash South Shore is open all year. Fees: Fees are charged. Accessibility: Restroom facilities are accessible. Rules: Maximum stay is 14 days in any 28 day period. Trash collection is not provided. Visitors must pack out their own trash to dumpsters at South Mesa or Senator Wash Boat Ramp. OHV use is limited to existing roads and trails. Please Tread Lightly. Directions: To get to Senator Wash South Shore use Interstate 8 to Yuma, AZ. Take the 4th Avenue to Imperial County Road S-24. Go north approximately 22 miles to Senator Wash Road. Turn left onto Senator Wash Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles to the South Mesa campground. Turn left then proceed approximately 200 yards and enter the access road on the right, which leads to the reservoir.
