Mt. Lemmon Skyride at Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley offers a scenic skyride during the summer months, offering wonderful photographic opportunities and wildlife viewing. The chair lift is in operation year-round, taking visitors to a top elevation of 9003 ft, and a high overlook where they can enjoy views of the Santa Catalinas, the San Pedro Valley, the city of Tucson, the Reef of Rocks, and the distant mountains near Globe and Phoenix. These scenic views, combined with the many trails and overlooks in the area, makes this a popular place to visit in any season.

Facilities: The Mt. Lemmon Skyride offers a restaurant, and snack bar. The nearby village of Summerhaven has overnight accommodations available.

Reservations: The Mt. Lemmon Skyride at Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley does not accept reservations for summer activities.

Best Time To Visit: The Mt. Lemmon Skyride is open year-round.

Fees: Use fees are charged. Additional fees may be incurred through the U.S. Forest Service.

Accessibility: Persons with limited mobility should contact Mt. Lemmon Ski Skyride for details.

Rules: Leash laws are in effect for the Mt. Lemmon recreation area.

Directions: To reach the Mt. Lemmon Skyride from Tucson, take the Catalina Highway off Tanque Verde Road in Tucson. Proceed about 4.2 miles to the forest boundary and drive 26 miles to the Ski Valley turnoff. Turn right and go 1 mile to the ski area at 10300 Ski Run Rd.
