Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley, with its' extreme southern locale, offers some of the best skiing in the state. The ski area has an average snowfall of 175 inches, and is usually open from mid-December to early April.
Located in the scenic Santa Catalina Mountains, Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley has the distinction of being the southernmost ski resort in the continental United States. With Tucson only one hour away, it makes it possible to go skiing, play a round of golf and relax in a pool under the desert sun all on the same day!

Few people think of snow and skiing when they think of southern Arizona. Hot temperatures, desert, and diamondbacks more readily come to mind. Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley offers a cool retreat to the desert sun.

Facilities: Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley offers a restaurant, toilets, and snack bar. The nearby village of Summerhaven has overnight accommodations available.

Reservations: Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley accepts reservations for instruction only.

Best Time To Visit: Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley is open year-round. The ski season is usually between mid-December to early April. Call ahead to check conditions.

Fees: Use fees are charged. Additional fees may be incurred through rental, lessons, and lodging, and the U.S. Forest Service.

Accessibility: Persons with limited mobility should contact Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley for details.

Rules: Leash laws are in effect for the Mt. Lemmon recreation area.

Directions: To reach Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley from Tucson, take the Catalina Highway off Tanque Verde Road in Tucson. Proceed about 4.2 miles to the Forest boundary and drive 26 miles to the Ski Valley turnoff. Turn right and go 1 mile to the ski area at 10300 Ski Run Rd.
