| Facilities: Two vault toilets and the Senator Wash Boat Ramp are available at Senator Wash North Shore. Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Senator Wash North Shore. Best Time To Visit: Senator Wash North Shore is open year-round. Fees: Fees are charged. Accessibility: Vault toilet access for persons with disabilities is difficult. Rules: Maximum stay is 14 days in any 28 day period. Trash collection is not provided. Visitors must pack out their own trash. Dumpsters are located across the lake at Senator Wash boat ramp and at South Mesa campground. OHV use is limited to existing roads and trails. Please Tread Lightly. Directions: To get to Senator Wash North Shore use Interstate 8 to Yuma, AZ. Take the 4th Avenue exit to Imperial County Road S-24. Go north approximately 22 miles to Senator Wash Road. Turn onto Senator Wash Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles to the South Mesa campground. Turn left, and then proceed straight through the campground until arrival at the directional signing, which will provide directions to North Shore. |
