Nearby services and supplies can be found in Lakeside. Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Scott Reservoir. Best Time To Visit: Scott Reservoir is open all year except extreme cold and icy weather. Fees: No fees are charged. Accessibility: This area is not fully accessible. There are paved sidewalks to the toilets. Rules: Boats may only have a single electric motor and live bait fishing is prohibited. All boaters must have a wearable flotation device, not a cushion. All children 12 and under must wear a flotation device at all times. Camping at Scott Reservoir Campground is limited to 5 days. ATVs and ORVs are prohibited. Directions: To get to Scott Reservoir from Lakeside District Office drive east .1 miles on State Highway 260. Turn left on Porter Mountain Road, (Forest Road 45). Stay on the Porter Mountain Road for 1.5 miles. Look for the sign on the right, Scott Reservoir, and follow the road to the facilities. Be careful as the access road is very rough in some spots. |
