Schoolhouse Point Campground is set on the southern shores of the Salt River arm of Roosevelt Lake. This is an excellent catfishing area. Deer, coyotes, javelinas, and occasional bears can be seen in the area.

Facilities: No facilities are available at Schoolhouse Point Campground. Facilities are available in Spring Creek or Globe.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted at Schoolhouse Point Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Schoolhouse Point Campground is open year round.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: This campground is located within the Tonto National Forest; forest regulations apply. Maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To get to Schoolhouse Point Campground from Apache Junction go northeast on State Highway 88 for 45 miles to Forest Route 447. Go North on 447 3 mile to the campground.
