Arizona Scenic Skyride at Arizona Snowbowl is the easiest and best way to see Northern Arizona, all summer long. The Scenic Skyride shuttles visitors to an elevation of 11,500 feet for panoramic views atop an extinct volcano. From this elevation, visitors can see over 70 miles of world-class scenery, including the Grand Canyon and downtown Flagstaff.
The Skyride offers great opportunities for photography, viewing wildlife, hiking, or just enjoying the peaceful ride up and down Arizona's highest mountains. At the top, a Forest Service interpretative specialist is available to assist and answer any questions regarding the biology and geology of the region.


Facilities: Arizona Scenic Skyride at Arizona Snowbowl provides restrooms, food and beverages, ATM, and first aid. Lodges are nearby.

Best Time To Visit: The Scenic Skyride operates daily from 10 AM to 4 PM from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, weather permitting. After Labor Day, the Skyride operates Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through mid-October.

Fees: Use fees are charged.

Accessibility: Persons with limited mobility should contact Arizona Snowbowl for details.

Rules: Obey all posted rules.

Directions: Arizona Scenic Skyride is located at Arizona Snowbowl located 7 miles northwest of Flagstaff on Highway 180. Turn right on Snowbowl Road and continue another 7 miles.
