Fees: A parking fee may be charged. Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible. Rules: Unknown Directions: To reach Sand Flat Trail from Prescott take Hwy 89 north to Chino Valley. From Chino Valley take Forest Road 354 for about 25 miles north past Perkinsville to Forest Road 179. Take Forest Road 179 to the right for 2.5 miles, passing the Pine Flat Ranch headquarters. Forest Road 179 is suitable for high clearance vehicles in fair weather. An alternate access is from Drake via Forest Road 492 to Forest Road 354.
