The 1,100 acres of Saguaro Lake, at an elevation of 1,506 feet, is an excellent place for visitors to enjoy camping, picnicking, fishing, and water-play. Common fish species include largemouth bass, channel catfish, carp, bluegill, and green sunfish. Visitors should keep in mind that from April through October, and on most weekends and holidays, Saguaro Lake reaches its maximum boating capacity early in the day and additional boats are not allowed.

Facilities: The closest services and supplies can be found at the Saguaro Lake Marina including a fuel dock and restaurant.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted at Saguaro Lake.

Best Time To Visit: Saguaro Lake is open year round. From April through October, and on most weekends and holidays, Saguaro Lake reaches its maximum boating capacity early in the day.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Glass containers are prohibited at the lake.

Directions: Saguaro Lake is located 31 miles east of Mesa. From Mesa, travel 27 miles northeast on State Hwy. 87 to Bush Highway/Forest Road 204 and turn right (southwest). Follow Forest Road 204 for 4 miles to Forest Road 206; turn left and travel 1/4 mile to the lake.
